Harriet Myers

1807 – 1865

Harriet Myers worked alongside her husband Stephen Myers at their Albany home, openly hosting freedom seekers at their family table rather than hiding them, and helping run the Underground Railroad operations that made their household the center of the Albany Vigilance Committee throughout the 1850s.
